10am-2pm | MEET IN THE BARN

$125 per day, includes food, beverage, gardening equipment and free souvenir

Spring has sprung and it is time to sow seeds and transplant sprouts into Goldberry Woods’ Hoop House!  We would like to invite you to our April Experience, where you will get your hands in the dirt and explore the process and intentional steps that support Goldberry Woods’ 2024 micro-farm.  Come for one day or both, there is plenty of work to do!

This two day event is a unique opportunity to learn from and have hands-on guidance from Goldberry Woods’ very own Innkeeper, Farmer and Owner, Julie Haberichter. Julie was born playing in the dirt and has meshed chemical and mechanical knowledge with her passion for safe and healthy foods, holistic wellness, care for soil, and awareness of the pollinators and other creepy crawlies that are affected by our gardening endeavors.

She is always experimenting and this year is no different.  She will share past experiences and new ideas, in what is bound to be a transformative experience for both novice and experienced gardeners.  While not OMRI certified, they employ farming methods that, in many ways, surpass USDA organic.  They holistically  consider aspects of permaculture, biodiversity, and upcycling.  They try to create many of their own inputs through cover cropping and composting and are exploring lunar planting this season.  Goldberry Woods seeks to continually learn and share with great transparency.
